Job Title: Road Technician 

Job Description: The Road Technician will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and tearing down of production equipment for various events. They will be responsible in managing set-up and tear-down crews, managing client expectations, and ensuring that the best interests of Theatrical Media Services are represented professionally.

Responsibilities:

  •  Production set-up, maintenance, event operations, and tear-down
  • Loading and unloading semi-trailers
  • On-site representation of Theatrical Media Services interests
  • Expectation to be out of town on a regular basis and potentially long stretches of time

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
  • Must be comfortable working at heights with frequent use of lifts, ladders, and scaffolding. (training and certifications will be provided)
  • Must be willing to travel as needed; occasional jobs out of town.

Preferred Skills: 

  • Technical experience in theatrical stage lighting
  • Experience with GrandMA2/3, Hog4/5, or Chamsys Lighting Control Systems
  • Networking proficiency
  • Microsoft Office proficiency

Working Conditions: 

  •  Will be required to work weekends and holidays
  • Large amounts of time spent on your feet
  • Regular lifting of heavy equipment, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling
  • Working both indoors and outdoors
  • Regular travel

Work location: Multiple locations, warehouse located in Ralston, NE

Pay commensurate with experience

 

Job Title: Project Installer

Job Description: You will be installing low voltage wires and cables, terminate connections, and build equipment racks. Read and interpret blueprints. Install, set up, program, and test a large variety of electronic equipment, speakers, curtains and lighting fixtures. Work in a variety of environments.

Experience needed in at least one of the following categories:

  • Professional Sound Systems
  • Professional Lighting Systems
  • Commercial Paging Systems
  • Theatrical Rigging Systems (Curtain/ Fly Loft)
  • Professional Video Systems
  • Low Voltage Installation (i.e., security cameras)

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
