To select the DMX base address, shut off the power switch or disconnect the AC line from the generator. Dial the appropriate address using the dip switch. Determine the address by adding the value of the switches you turned on. Every time you change the address you must remove and re power the generator because the address is read only on power up.
switch 1 as a value of 1
switch 2 as a value of 2
switch 3 as a value of 4
switch 4 as a value of 8
switch 5 as a value of 16
switch 6 as a value of 32
switch 7 as a value of 64
switch 8 as a value of 128
switch 9 as a value of 256
switch 10 sets the termination for the DMX line if last in line (nothing plugged in the DMX out connector) must be on.
Example: address 78, switch 7, 4, 3 and 2 on, all others off.
DMX Control
The Interface uses two (2) consecutive DMX channels
– Channel one turns the generator on or off. All values under 50% are off, over 50% you’re on.
– Channel two controls the fog emission. All values over 7% wil turn the fog emission on.
LED Indicators
– Green: Fog Generator ready.
– Yellow: Fog Generator heater on, or if flashing rapidly it indicates that the generator is in a fail mode.
